More details about Gov. Sptizer's indiscretions have emerged since his subsequent resignation. During Spitzer's exchanges with prostitutes, he choose to engage in unprotected sex. His recklessness jeopardized the health of the sex workers, his wife, and himself. This revelation came on the same day that Planned Parenthood announced that 1 in 4 female teens has an STD; 1 in 2 African American female teens has one.
Spitzer liked risk.
During my research in the Netherlands, I learned that many clients intentionally sought unprotected sex with drug addicted streetwalkers because of the thrill of risking HIV transmission.
