I am sitting through the action-car chase-bank heist flick, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, on hulu.com. The generational difference in the characters played by Clint Eastwood and Jeff Bridges, and the mishaps they encounter on the road together, are not unlike that of the cinematic icons Thelma and Louise. Quintin Tarantino's film, Death Proof, clearly pays homage to the "choreography" of the innumerable car chases. Meanwhile, the Idaho landscape, so stark in Napoleon Dynamite, makes for a stunning backdrop.
