Drinking my poison
Watching the RNC twist and distort history of the last 28 years is a hard pill for me to swallow, but I feel it's better to know my enemies than to ignore them. Right now, the GOP is parading every person of Color they can muster to portray diversity in their organization. It's ironic because the audience is largely Anglo, upper-middle class and completely out of touch with reality.

i agree. i too watched the RNC and wondered how his message translates to the working class or people of color, or if it does at all.
his speech, along with his other supporters only glorified his military achievements and barely mentioned what he is standing up for, other than the democratic party? after 8 years of sh!+, that's all he is fighting for?
i respect political differences, but at a time like this, it's just disgusting if people want to fall in line with this party.
