Storm over Everest

Storm over Everest haunted me for hours after watching the video. At 3am I awoke feeling trapped on the Hillary Step, stranded along with the climbers who could not escape. Trapped in the clutches of a fierce storm, climbers withstood little oxygen and no strength to find their way back to Camp Four.

Ego obstructed the survival for some climbers who insisted on reaching the summit despite the peril of time. Selflessness, meanwhile, marked the fate of others. Human nature is exposed in this story. What kind of climber best represents your ego and will?

Mine the one climbing for the cookies on the upper shelf in Camp Home.

No cookies on the top shelf. Instead, the one has mined the freezer of all sorbet.
