On this sultry night, I had just finished my meal when Andy Rooney, the longtime curmudgeon from the CBS show, 60 minutes, appeared dining a few tables away at an Italian restaurant on the upper west side. The thought of blowing the geriatric a kiss crossed my mind but we never made eye contact.
