My rain boots

Comments made to me about rain boots that I wore on Thursday:

9:20AM Exiting the subway at Chambers Street, a construction worker crouching at knee level looked up and said, "Nice boots," in his gravely voice.

5:40PM Walking through City Hall, a plump soft spoken man walking with a female friend looked at my boots and said, "Oh, I love those."
