I took my Sardinian in-laws to Artie's, a wonderful delicatessen located on the Upper West Side for lunch yesterday (I highly praise their cole slaw, pickled vegetables, smoked salmon platter, homemade mushroom barley soup, and turkey sandwich). Ugo and Pina were overwhelmed by the large food portions there and at Cold Stone where a small ice cream is the equivalent to an extra-large in Italy.
