Why is it in multicultural New York City that we have another New York based television program with an all white ensemble cast slatted for network broadcasting (Sex in the City, Friends to list two). The premise is cliche and a lily white cultural storyline to boot. What's most infuriating, though, are the ubiquitous poster ads throughout the City and underground in the subway system. The contrast between the mediate representation of NYC and the everyday demographics make a striking contrast in realities.
